Prey Animal Poem
I’m running I’m dodging,
I better go fast,
It’s chasing, it’s coming,
Don’t wanna’ be last!
Its teeth are so sharp,
Its claws are so strong,
Predator’s coming,
It won’t take him long!
I run and I hide,
Don’t wanna’ be prey,
Being a meal?
No fun’s, what I say!
I gotta’ run fast,
Or use camouflage,
I gotta’ hide well,
I’ll deek and I’ll dodge!
I’ll try to escape,
The predator’s pack,
Try not to become a meal or a snack!

What are animals of prey?
Prey animals are those that are hunted and eaten by other animals.
Many common prey animals are small, such as rabbits, and mice, but even larger animals such as deer are often preyed upon by predators.
Small fish are often the prey of larger fish, which are in turn the prey of even larger hunters, such as sharks.
