Exosphere Poem

I traveled the thermosphere,
And enter the exosphere,
Excited to slip into space…
rocket cartoon
Gravity grabs me,
But not very strongly
I’ve entered a pretty far place…
Atoms? Molecules?
water molecule with 2 hydrogen and an oxygen
There’s only a few,
Never colliding,
It’s not what they do,
Exosphere, exosphere,
The final frontier,
The last stop before leaving,
Earth’s atmosphere…

What is the Exosphere?

The exosphere is the fifth and last layer of Earth’s atmosphere before interplanetary space.

The bottom of the exospere (the exosbase) begins anywhere from 500 to 1,000 kilometres (310 to 620 mi) above the Earth. (depending on solar activity)

Temperatures in the exosphere remain constant.

Many satellites orbit the Earth in the exosphere.
