Rattle, rumble,
Shook and shake,
Tremble, trouble,
Scream earthquake!
Beneath the Earth,
Nothing waits,
Strikes and slips,
Tectonic plates…
Pushing grinding,
Will it halt?
What will happen,
To the fault?

What is an Earthquake?
A shaking of the Earth’s crust. Often caused by movements of tectonic plates or volcanic activity.
The energy of an earthquake is measured on the richter scale.
