As a math education specialist who has worked at various schools in New York City and California, I've seen far too many students bored, intimidated, and missing out on the joy of discovering the beauty of math. Because of this, I decided to put together Mathstory.com to keep students smiling and engaged as they mastered mathematical concepts.

Although it has been a struggle and certainly against any sane person's better judgment, it has also been a labor of love. There is no corporate entity, government bailout money, or internet venture capitalist funding this site. Every resource was created by me, uploaded by me, and maintained by me (made the videos and recorded the math songs right here in my living room), so that my students, and students everywhere can smile and be excited as they go through their own math adventures.
